Volunteering is a very rewarding experience. It is a chance for you to give back and help those who cannot help themselves. Helping animals is the most rewarding of all. Volunteering at a local animal shelter is a good way to learn about animals and give back. The Friend Foundation loves having Volunteers, no matter how long you come for, even if it’s only an hour.

 

Our Volunteers do a variety of jobs, depending on their interests. From brushing and playing with the cats to socialising the puppies and walking the dogs. We even have a horse who loves apples and a bush.
